Welcome to the Derwent Mountaineering Club (DMC).
We are a club located in Matlock, Derbyshire, offering a diverse range of outdoor activities including climbing, mountaineering, scrambling, and walking.
Our membership is diverse and spans the Matlock area, including Belper, Ashbourne, Chesterfield, and Derby.
Our group includes a diverse range of experience levels, from novice climbers and North Face summiteers to seasoned alpinists and casual walkers. Ages vary widely, while membership starts at 18.
