Welcome to the Derwent Mountaineering Club (DMC).

We are a club located in Matlock, Derbyshire, offering a diverse range of outdoor activities including climbing, mountaineering, scrambling, and walking.

Our membership is diverse and spans the Matlock area, including Belper, Ashbourne, Chesterfield, and Derby.

Our group includes a diverse range of experience levels, from novice climbers and North Face summiteers to seasoned alpinists and casual walkers. Ages vary widely, spanning from under 10 to over 80, with participants of all ages in between.
